Our Daily Lives are Dramatically Better with Continuous
Continuous Networks provides the greatest value in the market. For us, we don’t want the cheapest, we want the best value. After years being hosted by a cheaper alternative, we needed a solution with a proactive and personal touch. The difference between our past experience as a subscriber at a large hosting company and our current experience with Continuous is night and day. In the past, we were a number on an invoice, and a monthly payment. The hosting company didn’t know or care about our business needs, and as a result, the support we received was always by staff who knew absolutely nothing about our setup. Our team ended up spending a substantial portion of each day just making sure all of the sites were online. If there was a problem, we would have to bring it to the attention of the hosting company. When we moved to Continuous as our dedicated network and hosting provider, our daily lives changed dramatically for the better. We were assigned a team of bright and articulate individuals who immediately gained a firsthand understanding of our technology. We no longer have to bring problems to the attention of our provider – Continuous is proactive and responsive regardless of the time or day. We have easily reduced our hours dealing with server/network problems from almost 20% of our day to less than 5% of our month. As a result, we now spend all our time now developing our products instead of putting out fires.
We would not even consider working with a cloud provider without having them be responsible for 24/7 monitoring. We quickly grew tired of hearing from our users about a problem that we hadn’t yet discovered ourselves. With Continuous in charge of 24/7 monitoring, issues are fixed BEFORE our users have any problems. The amount of time saved for us to do actual development more than makes up for the additional cost of monitoring. On more than one occasion, we have needed to restore from a backup or fight a virus, and Continuous has always led the charge to make sure we get an immediate resolution. I am certain we would not have stopped every attack without Continuous monitoring our network.
