Thinking and planning are critical to ensuring you don’t waste toothpaste when brushing your teeth. The same goes for making changes to your network. Performing a backup of your data and network in addition to creating a proper rollback plan are vital to maintaining uptime and avoiding unnecessary end user and customer pain when making these necessary changes to your network. Insist that your IT vendor has a proper backup and a rollback plan in place whenever making changes to your network. It could mean the difference between a tolerable Monday and a Monday you will never forget.
