Here’s what most people don’t realize about using Amazon Alexa…

Hi folks, Karl Uffdagaard guard here.
Have you ever stopped and considered that your Amazon Alexa is connected to your Amazon account?
Folks always forget this…

This means, that if an attacker can gain access to your Amazon account, they can also access your Alexa recordings in any other smart device you’ve connected to it.
Even make purchases using your account!

UFFDA!
But, here’s how to fix it.

  1. Login to amazon.com.
  2. Go to your account, select login, and security select two-step verification Settings.
  3. Select ‘Get Started’ to enable MFA on your Amazon account.
  4. Make sure to set a strong password of at least 15 characters that isn’t based on a dictionary word.

Remember smart devices are fun, but they can also be very dangerous.
